Michael Greer received a Masters in Creative Writing from Mount Mary University. He’s worked as the art director and editor on six picture books including Electric Angel and Eyes of India, which he won best cover design from Foreword Reviews. His young adult manuscript Frozen in Motion won the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) Wisconsin Manuscript Contest, Judged by Phoebe Yeh, VP of Crown Books for Young Readers. He’s also been honored with multiple illustration awards from SCBWI, including a best sequential narrative judged by Katrina Damkoehler, Senior Designer at Random House Children’s Publishing. His journalism received an Associated Collegiate Press Innovation Pacemaker Award.
